1️⃣ What is the Worldwide Kids Vibe Coding Hackathon?
The Worldwide Kids Vibe Coding Hackathon (WoKiViCo) is a coordinated series of in‑person hackathons where children aged 8-14 unleash their creativity through coding, game design, and digital making. On 10 – 11 October 2025, local venues across the globe open their doors so young makers can build projects that matter to them, their communities, and the planet.

🙋♀️ Why Host?
Hosting WoKiViCo will (make a group of kids super happy, but also) lets your school, company, or community hub:
- Spark STEM enthusiasm among local youth.
- Gain global visibility with our interactive project map.
- Test premium creation tools for free (Lovable Vibe Coding Toolkit & ROSEBUD AI Game Creator - credit vouchers included).
- Create and be part of a global network of educators, technologists, and volunteers.
“Connect globally, hack locally.” Every host contributes to a mosaic of simultaneous events, showing what kids can achieve when the world codes together.
🗺️ Global Concept, Local Experience
- Choose your day: host on Friday 10 Oct, on Saturday 11 Oct, or both. Kids are not required to attend both days.
- Choose Your Duration: Due to multiple time zones, the global event will span nearly the entire day. However, the local host should determine the most suitable duration or time slot, considering venue and children's constraints. Typically, a slot of no more than 4 hours per day is recommended, with structured opening and closing segments.
- On‑site only: participants gather physically at your venue; there is no remote track for this first edition.
- Kick‑off & wrap‑up: hosts sync via Zoom for a global hello
- Local autonomy: aside from the common safety and non‑commercial rules, host can design their own timetable, challenges, and judging format.
