1 Be Kind & Inclusive
- Treat everyone with respect and empathy—no bullying, ridicule, or exclusion.
- Welcome diversity in skills, background, language, and ideas.
- Use friendly, age-appropriate language at all times.
2 Safety First
- Follow all instructions from hosts and mentors promptly.
- Keep walkways clear, handle equipment responsibly, and report hazards immediately.
- No sharing of log-ins or personal data between children.
- No sharing of un-appropriate content for the youngest in the event.
3 Positive Collaboration
- Support your peers: offer help, give constructive feedback, and share credit.
- Ask questions openly—there are no “silly” questions here.
- Honour the one-mentor-per-three-kids guidance and respect mentors’ directions.
4 Respectful Technology Use
- Devices are for hackathon work only—no unrelated websites, chats, or games.
- Use Lovable and ROSEBUD AI within event guidelines; do not attempt to bypass safety filters.
- Protect passwords and never post or publish anyone else’s code without permission.
