• Treat everyone with respect and empathy—no bullying, ridicule, or exclusion.
• Welcome diversity in skills, background, language, and ideas.
• Use friendly, age-appropriate language at all times.

2 Safety First

• Follow all instructions from hosts and mentors promptly.
• Keep walkways clear, handle equipment responsibly, and report hazards immediately.
• No sharing of log-ins or personal data between children.
• No sharing of un-appropriate content for the youngest in the event.

3 Positive Collaboration

• Support your peers: offer help, give constructive feedback, and share credit.
• Ask questions openly—there are no “silly” questions here.
• Honour the one-mentor-per-three-kids guidance and respect mentors’ directions.

4 Respectful Technology Use

• Devices are for hackathon work only—no unrelated websites, chats, or games.
• Use Lovable and ROSEBUD AI within event guidelines; do not attempt to bypass safety filters.
• Protect passwords and never post or publish anyone else’s code without permission.
